Maghera Credit Union began in 1999, when a group of like-minded volunteers came together to help the local community through savings accounts and low-cost loans.
Maghera LOL 209 provided Maghera Orange Hall as our venue. We remain based there today, continuing to operate entirely through the work of volunteers.
We operate on a not-for-profit basis and exist to serve our members and the community within our local common bond.
